Albany Guardian Society (AGS) Information

Hello everyone! Thank you all for such a great conversation last week. I wanted to re-introduce (or introduce) Albany Guardian Society and what our organization does for older adults in the Capital Region.

Albany Guardian Society's primary mission is to provide education to older adults on aging and how to age well. AGS holds classes and workshops covering a variety of topics, such as (but not limited to) how to use your iPhone, weathering changes in caregiving, housing for senior adults: live where you want to live, and many more. Currently, all classes are held online, but starting in April, select classes will be held in-person in the AGS Learning Center, located within our office space. You must register to attend our online and in-person classes via our website. AGS also offers a housing directory and transportation directory that are published in-print and online, which are updated every other year.

Our office is located on the first floor at 12 Corporate Woods Boulevard, Albany, NY. We have a parking lot and a handicap-accessible entrance.

Please share and spread the word about our classes and our organization!! :)
