CAPS offers a service called CARELine which is a private, non-crisis "warm-line" telephone service, for people who need assistance whether it be having a listening ear, getting help to make a decision or getting referrals to other community or self-help programs. Trained peers will listen to callers issues, standing on the firm belief of the therapeutic benefits of peer support. In turn, this dramatically reduces the need for traditional crisis services and hospital recidivism by giving users of mental health services a secure, welcoming environment where they can confide in one another in a supportive manner.

Anyone can call CARELine (518-427-5056 x115)
Operating hours: Everyday from 5pm to 1am
